M400 Skycar VTOL
With the gas prices surging many companies are coming up with new products and forms of transportation. We’ve all heard of hydro this and solar that, how about your own personal flying machine? Seriously, would you purchase one if you had the ability to? Thanks to Moller International that dream may soon be a reality. They have now developed the first and only personal vertical landing take off vehicle. So far its the only one known of throughout the world. This piece of magnificence is also referred to as the VTOL.
Will it replace the car? While this may not be something that happens for quite sometime it is definitely a realistic possibility (at least in my mind). The VTOL would not only be easy to maintain but also cost effective and almost 100% reliable. Many car manufacturer’s are just now taking into account aerodynamics when creating their automobiles, while those who are in aerospace have been doing so from the start. By applying aerodynamics the Skycar has better tuned wide track suspensions, fuel injection systems, and electronic ignitions.
The M400 Skycar can zoom you from your garage to your destination at a comfortable 275 MPH which will allow you to arrive in almost no time flat. You would never be late for a meeting or an important event again. The skycar has the ability to reach speeds as fast as 375 MPH and on average achieves around 20 miles per gallon on ethanol fuel which of course is known as one of the cleanest burning fuels available. This is not only cheaper on your wallet but is also safer for the environment.
The actual price for this is currently unknown but you should expect to see the release of these to the public in the near future but unfortunately no flux capacitor!!
